Ben Kereopa-Yorke is a senior information security specialist and AI security researcher at Telstra with extensive experience in cybersecurity governance, auditing, and AI security. He co-manages Telstra's ISMS, leads the AI Security Working Group, and mentors employees on AI/ML. Ben's research focuses on AI security best practices and quantifying risk in AI systems using chaos, dynamic systems, and game theory. He holds a Master of Cyber Security from Charles Sturt University and is pursuing a Master of Cyber Security, Strategy, and Diplomacy at UNSW Canberra. Kereopa-Yorke is a member of the OWASP Machine Learning Security Top Ten core team, an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society, a OpenAI Forum Member, and a professional member of the International Association of Algorithmic Auditors. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he frequently speaks at cybersecurity conferences.
