Bikash Chandra Singh is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Cybersecurity at Old Dominion University, in Norfolk, Virginia. Previously, he was a post-doctoral research associate at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis & Simulation Center (VMASC) at Old Dominion University from November 2022 to September 2023. Dr. Singh also served as a faculty member in the Department of Information and Communication Technology at Islamic University, Bangladesh, and worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from January 2021 to April 2022.
Dr. Singh earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Information and Communication Engineering from Islamic University, Bangladesh, in 2005 and 2006, and completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Insubria, Italy, in 2018. His research focuses on data privacy and security, machine learning, privacy-preserving ML, local differential privacy, secured AI, online social network analysis, and blockchain systems. So far, he has authored over 25 technical papers in leading international publications.
