George Drivas is the Head of the Network & Information Security Department of the Greek National Cyber Security Authority. He received a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of West Attica in 2006 and an M.Sc. in Information Security from the University of Piraeus in 2012, where he currently is conducting PhD research in the area of Cybersecurity Governance. He is experienced in the field of ICT and especially in the field of Digital Systems and Information Security, both in the private and the public sector. He has worked in the Banking, Telecommunications, Research & Development, Healthcare and Central Public Administration sectors, with active involvement in issues related to security management, ICT security auditing as well as managing large ICT projects. He has served as national representative to European and international committees (for example,EUNIS Cooperation Group, CEF Taskforce, OSCE, OECD) and has participated to national and European projects on Cybersecurity issues.
