Lasha Chakhava serves as a head of Administration of the LEPL—Public Safety Command Center 112, under the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia. In this capacity, he oversees relevant units within the center which plays a pivotal role in providing swift management of emergency cases, preventing crime and ensuring public safety across the country.
From 2018 to 2020 Mr. Chakhava held the position of head of the Analytical Unit at the Joint Operations Center of the MIA, leading a team focused on research and analysis of advanced analytical programs and expansion of national video surveillance systems in Georgia to enhance safety and security.
He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and is a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Mr. Chakhava is an alumnus of Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP), having completed the Leadership in International Security Course (LISC) in 2022-23.
